For the fourth year, BRIDGE Lacrosse Dallas sponsored a week-long
lacrosse camp for girls and another week-long camp for boys as part of
Circle of Support's summer enrichment program. The camps took place at the St. Philip's School & Community Center athletic field. All children enrolled in Circle of Support's programs participated in the camps.
The boys were coached by SAINTS coach Jack Tierney and volunteers from the Highland Park Boys lacrosse team. The girls were coached by Amanda Walker, girls varsity coach for Highland Park and some of her players. Martin Brooks, on summer break from Endicott College, also assisted with the girl's camp.
Testimonial
"The reason I like lacrosse is I'm a good defense. I check people. It's a good sport to play. It makes me so happy. It gets better and better."
