Edie Lycke-President & Founder
Edie Lycke was inspired to start BRIDGE Lacrosse Dallas after reading about a similar program in Boston, Metrolacrosse.
BRIDGE Lacrosse Dallas was incorporated in 2007 but its origins go back
to 2005, when Ms. Lycke started a lacrosse team at St. Philip's School & Community Center. The following year, she started a team at Irma Rangel Young Women's Leadership School of Dallas. Both schools are located near Fair Park in south Dallas.
Her business experience includes more than 25 years of sales,
communications and marketing experience with Time-Warner in New York
City and with her own firm, Lycke & Associates in Dallas.
After starting the varsity girls lacrosse team at the Hockaday School
in 1999, she saw a need for younger girls to have an opportunity to
play lacrosse and started the Girls Middle School Lacrosse Assn (now
part of the North Texas Youth Lacrosse League).
She started the annual statewide girls' middle school play day and was
a former girls' middle school coach at the Hockaday School. She was president of the Girls N. Division of the Texas High School Lacrosse League before it became a separate entity.
She is the founder of Friends of North Texas Lacrosse, the fundraising
arm of the North Texas chapter of US Lacrosse and has run major
fundraising events for that organization. In 2007 she was inducted into the Texas Lacrosse Hall of Fame. In 2009 she was voted "Man of the Year" by the Texas High School Lacrosse League, an organization of lacrosse coaches throughout the state of Texas.
Christine "Cricket"
Griffin is President, CFO and a Trustee of United Mortgage Trust, a

Woodbine Petroleum, Inc., a publicly traded oil and gas company. There her responsibilities included regulatory reporting, shareholder relations and supervision.

Park Boys Lacrosse, Inc. and Friends of US Lacrosse-North Texas Chapter. She is currently president of the North Texas Youth Lacrosse League and also serves on its board.
Cricket has run numerous tournaments and special events for the North
Texas lacrosse community including the Men's Collegiate Club Lacrosse
Championships in 2007 and 2008 and the first ever major league lacrosse
