David Higbee-Executive Director
David Higbee is a 2008 graduate from the University of Oklahoma where he received a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences and played midfielder for Oklahoma. David moved to Dallas upon graduation and prior to becoming the Executive Director for BRIDGE, worked in the environmental industry. David joined BRIDGE in 2009 as a volunteer coach with the St. Philip's boys teams. Since then, he has enjoyed coaching year-round and participating in various events on behalf of BRIDGE. In 2011, David was a recipient of the Positive Coaching Alliance's Double Goal Coach Award for North Texas. He is now the coach for the Barack Obama Male Leadership Academy team. David also serves as a coach for the Hillcrest Panthers program and is the founder of Prodigy Lacrosse, a youth development program. He is also the founder of a social innovation group called the Dallas Engaged Professionals.
Laura Weinman is responsible for contributing to all aspects of BLD's sports-based youth development programs as well as providing organizational and logistical to BLD's year-round programs. Laura graduated from the University of North Texas in 2010 with a B.S. in Recreation and Leisure Studies, concentrating in program management, with a minor in Ethnic Studies. Laura joined BRIDGE in February 2011 as a part-time program assistant. Her past work experience includes over four years working with various youth programs around the DFW area as well as serving as a Community Relations intern with Dallas' professional soccer team, FC Dallas. Laura was a member of the University of North Texas women's ultimate team from 2007-2010 and is currently an assistant coach for the Marcus High School co-ed ultimate program.
Edie Lycke was inspired to start BRIDGE Lacrosse Dallas after reading about a similar program in Boston, MetroLacrosse. BRIDGE Lacrosse Dallas was incorporated in 2007 but its origins go back to 2005, when Ms. Lycke started a lacrosse team at St. Philip's School & Community Center. The following year, she started a team at Irma Rangel Young Women's Leadership School of Dallas. Both schools are located near Fair Park in south Dallas. Her business experience includes more than 25 years of sales, communications and marketing experience with Time-Warner in New York City and with her own firm, Lycke & Associates in Dallas. After starting the varsity girls lacrosse team at the Hockaday School in 1999, she saw a need for younger girls to have an opportunity to play lacrosse and started the Girls Middle School Lacrosse Assn (now part of the North Texas Youth Lacrosse League). She started the annual statewide girls' middle school play day and was a former girls' middle school coach at the Hockaday School. She was president of the Girls N. Division of the Texas High School Lacrosse League before it became a separate entity. She is the founder of Friends of North Texas Lacrosse, the fundraising arm of the North Texas chapter of US Lacrosse and has run major fundraising events for that organization. In 2007 she was inducted into the Texas Lacrosse Hall of Fame. In 2009 she was voted "Man of the Year" by the Texas High School Lacrosse League, an organization of lacrosse coaches throughout the state of Texas.
Alex received his bachelor's degree in economics and law degree from the University of Michigan, and he earned graduate degrees in international law from the London School of Economics and tax law from Southern Methodist University Law School. Alex is a partner at Hunton & Williams LLP and an adjunct professor at SMU Law School. His law practice focuses on planning mergers and acquisitions for private equity funds as well as public companies. Alex has served local charities including Girls Golf Club of Dallas, the Dallas Heart Ball and Dallas Children's Theater in a variety of capacities. Alex enjoys golfing and watching his three girls play lacrosse and other school sports.
Cricket Griffin-Treasurer
Christine "Cricket" Griffin is President, CFO and a Trustee of United Mortgage Trust, a Maryland real estate investment trust with assets primarily in Texas. Prior to this, Cricket served as CFO of SCMI, a Texas-based mortgage banking firm. Before joining SCMI, Ms. Griffin was for ten years, Vice President of Woodbine Petroleum, Inc., a publicly traded oil and gas company. There her responsibilities included regulatory reporting, shareholder relations and supervision. Her lacrosse experience includes serving on the boards of the Highland Park Boys Lacrosse, Inc. and Friends of US Lacrosse-North Texas Chapter. She is currently president of the North Texas Youth Lacrosse League and also serves on its board. Cricket has run numerous tournaments and special events for the North Texas lacrosse community including the Men's Collegiate Club Lacrosse Championships in 2007 and 2008 and the first ever major league lacrosse game in Texas at Texas Stadium in May, 2008. Cricket is a familiar figure at any and every major lacrosse event in the DFW Metroplex and generously shares her time and her considerable talents helping the sport grow.
Chris Creedon
Chris Creedon serves as the Vice President of the McKinney Lacrosse Association, where his five children play. He has been a youth coach for five years and a summer coach for Coast2Coast U-13 team. Chris has supported the tripling in size of McKinney lacrosse in the past five years and has been a vital advocate for promoting both the sport and many of the same values, teamwork and respect, that BRIDGE also represents. Chris is Vice President for TruSouth Oil, makers of new TruFuel premixed fuel for small engines. Originally from Stanford, CT. and a graduate from Tulane University, Chris also spent 13 years with Dr. Pepper/Snapple, most recently as Vice President of Marketing. In the past he has also served with the March of Dime in Los Angeles, heading up Winefest, while co-charing WalkAmerica.
Julia Danklef
Julia Danklef is a Managing Director at U.S. Trust with 28 year experience in the wealth management business. During the past three decades, Julia has worked and lived in Los Angeles, New York City and in 1995, she jumped at the chance to move back "home" and open the Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., Inc. office in Dallas. Julia grew up in Oklahoma and attended the University of Oklahoma and the University of Tulsa, earning degrees in piano performance. Having grown up in a pre-Title IX world, Julia is thrilled to watch her daughters flourish on the lacrosse field and to help underserved kids in Dallas be exposed to the sport. When not working or watching lacrosse or soccer games, Julia pursues her passion for running in some of Dallas' most beautiful neighborhoods.

Patricia Morris
Originally from Houston, Patricia moved to Dallas in 1987. She graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor's in Human Development and worked in human resources. After changing careers to become a full-time mom, she devoted her time to volunteerism, previously serving as a member of the Almuni Association Board at Vanderbilt University, President of the Girls Inc. Auxiliary Board, Co-President of the Dallas Vanderbilt Club, Steering Committee Member and various officer positions for the Dallas Alumni Chapter of Delta Delta Delta, Chairman of the Advisory Board for Chapel Hill United Methodist Child Development Program, Toy Drive Volunteer Coordinator for Community Partners of Dallas and held various committee and leadership positions with the Junior League of Dallas. She entered back into the workfoce in 2007 as an assistant for the outdoor education program at Good Shepherd Episcopal School and is currently a teacher assistant at Schreiber Methodist Preschool and Parents Day Out while serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Good Shepherd Episcopal School and Teacher Representative on the Preschool Committee at Schreiber. Patricia and her husband Brian have two sons: Michael who attends Southwestern University and Dan who plays lacrosse at Jesuit and helps volunteer coach as well as organize and run goalie clinics for BRIDGE. He is committed to play lacrosse at the University of Maryland.
Roby Mize
Roby Mize has worked as a private banker at Credit Suisse since 1993. A Dallas native, he graduated from St. Marks in 1983 and then went on to Washington and Lee University, where he fell in love with lacrosse. During his freshman year of college he saw a fall scrimmage between W&L and University of Virginia and was immediately hooked on the sport. Roby received his MBA from UT Austin in 1993. Roby and his wife have three sons who all play lacrosse. Roby is very active at St. Marks, coaching his sons' lacrosse teams and serving on the Alumni Board. He also volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and the Salvation Army. When Roby is not volunteering or working he enjoys playing golf and watching his sons play lacrosse.
Kevin Mondy
Kevin Mondy is the president and founder of Project Still I Rise Inc. Kevin works extensively within the community to improve the health, social skills, and educational advancement of Dallas' adolescents, providing services that promote healthy lifestyles for youth and their communities. Over the course of his career, Kevin has excelled in the positions of WGBC Youth Director, PTA President and Texas Lifetime Member, Dad's Club President, and community volunteer. He has also played a pivotal role in developing the City of Dallas Service Providers Network. Kevin received his B.S. in Health Education/Juvenile Justice from East Central University and M.A. in Professional Development from Dallas Baptist University. Kevin and his wife, Wylaia Mondy, have been married for 13 years and are the proud parents of Kevin Mondy Jr. and Kimaari Mondy.
Barry Smink
Barry Smink is the Executive Director of the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) in Dallas, a partner organization of BRIDGE Lacrosse Dallas. Barry is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) with more than 30 years of senior management experience including 20 years as the Chief Executive Officer of high performing, non-profit organizations including the Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas, and Special Olympics in Texas and New Mexico. His board service includes the University of North Texas College of Public Affairs and Community Service, United States Cerebral Palsy Association, and the Association of Fundraising Professionals-Dallas Chapter. Barry and his wife Trish, have four children and five grandchildren.
Dennis Winston
A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Dennis Winston has lived in Dallas since 1982. He earned his B.A. degree at Bishop College and is currently pursuing a Masters in Christian Education at Criswell College. He has been employed by the Dallas County Juvenile Probation Department for the last 21 years and is licensed as a certified probation officer. He has been Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent of the Dallas County Juvenile Detention throughout his career. He is also a licensed minister. Dennis is married and has two children, a boy and a girl. In his spare time, Dennis loves to spend time with his family, working out, lifting weights, and watching his son, Jeremy, play lacrosse. Dennis and his wife, Tanyss, are co-presidents of the St. Philips Saints Lacrosse Booster Club.
Marna Wohlfeld
Marna Wohlfeld served as BRIDGE Lacrosse Dallas' first executive director from February 2010 to April 2011. Marna has an extensive background as a non-profit consultant, grant writer and proposal writer. She has worked for Baylor Cardiac Rehab, the World Craniofacial Foundation and the Dallas-Haiti Project, creating strategic fundraising initiatives, planning and executing fundraising events, writing grants and developing partnerships with companies like Starbucks and American Title to advance organization initiatives. Marna graduated from Harvard College and received her MBA from UT Austin's DFW program. She has also worked in sales and marketing.
Seth Woodberry
Seth Woodberry is an independent petroleum producer and President of Woodberry Royalty, Inc. in Dallas, Texas. Seth graduated from Dartmouth College in 1981 and received a Masters of Business Administration from SMU in 1987. A varsity rower in college, Seth has been an avid lacrosse player since 1971 playing both high school and club lacrosse for many years in Dallas and San Francisco. He has had the pleasure of playing with many outstanding lacrosse players throughout the decades, and treasures the friendships of many former teammates. Seth has enjoyed coaching boys and girls youth lacrosse, as well as soccer and basketball. He and his wife have five children, including three current lacrosse players.
